OFFICIAL RULES: “Come Over October” Social Media Contest
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. CONTEST PERIOD
The “Come Over October” Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 12:00 AM PST on September 15, 2024, and ends at 11:59 PM PST on October 15, 2024 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received after the Contest Period will not be considered.
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Mendocino Winegrowers, Inc. (MWI), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. The Contest is governed by California law, including compliance with California privacy rights regulations.

3. HOW TO ENTER
To enter, during the Contest Period:
• Take a photo of yourself enjoying a bottle of Mendocino County wine (the label must be clearly visible in the photo).
• Post the photo on Instagram or Facebook and tag @mendowine and @comeoveroctober.
• Ensure your post is public so it can be viewed by the judges.
Multiple entries are allowed, but each entry must be unique. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
4. PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
• The wine label in the photo must clearly show it is a Mendocino County wine.
• The photo must be appropriate and in line with the Sponsor’s brand values (i.e., no offensive, illegal, or inappropriate content).
• Entries must comply with Instagram and Facebook guidelines.
5. WINNER SELECTION
A panel of judges from the MWI Board of Directors will review all eligible entries and select a winner based on the following criteria:
• Creativity and originality (40%)
• Appropriateness to the theme of enjoying Mendocino wine (30%)
• Visual appeal (30%)
The decisions of the judges are final. The winner will be notified via Direct Message (DM) on Instagram or Facebook no later than October 28, 2024. If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours or is found ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected.
6. PRIZES
The winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Mendocino Winegrowers Annual Meeting and Harvest Party on November 1, 2024. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or other items.
The approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize is which is $160 ($80 per ticket)
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By entering the Contest, entrants grant Mendocino Winegrowers, Inc. the perpetual, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, and publish their submitted photo for promotional purposes without further compensation.
Participants acknowledge that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
8. LEGAL COMPLIANCE
This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited. MWI is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communication failures that may affect an entry. This Contest is governed by California laws, and entrants’ privacy rights will be protected in accordance with California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) standards.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Mendocino Winegrowers, Inc., and its affiliates from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Contest or acceptance of the prize.
