Wentworth Vineyards

Wentworth Vineyards produces small lots of distinctive balanced, terroir-driven wines from our Estate Vineyards near the Mendocino Coast. Our wines are made from organically farmed Estate Grown grapes at Nash Mill Vineyard in the Anderson Valley and Wentworth Vineyard in the singular Mendocino Ridge AVA.

Our current releases are a 2018 Nash Mill Vineyard Pinot Noir, and a 2018 Anderson Valley Pinot Noir.

Wentworth Vineyard is on a ridge-top only about 3.5 miles from the Pacific, within an evergreen forest primarily composed of Coastal Redwoods and Douglas Firs. The vineyard is situated at an elevation of approximately 1,200 feet on Greenwood Ridge above the village of Elk. It is part of the singular Mendocino Ridge American Viticultural Area (AVA) which is the only non-contiguous AVA.  We grow and produce Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gruner Veltliner from this Monopole Estate Vineyard.

Nash Mill Vineyard is a beautiful south facing vineyard located at elevations between 400-500 feet on a hill in the northwestern portion of the Anderson Valley. The part of the Valley where the vineyard is located is known as Deep End-and is the section where the influence of the Pacific Coast is most pronounced. We grow and produce Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from this Estate Vineyard and sell grapes to handful of small ultra premium wineries.
