Who: Sonoma State University’s Center for Environmental Inquiry & Mendocino County Fire Safe Council

What: A virtual event designed for winegrowers, landowners, and land managers on the use of prescribed burning for land management. This workshop will explore the benefits and considerations of using fire as a tool to improve safety, the health of native species, and achieve other land management objectives.

Why: Learn from experts about the impact of fire on the landscape, assess whether fire can meet your land management needs, and understand the evidence of historic fire use and its absence.
